William Neill and I are now offering our fourth round of small group Yosemite workshops in the Spring of 2024. We have had very successful sessions in the Fall and Spring seasons of 2022 and 2023, and look forward to this next session! You will have the advantage of learning from our two distinct approaches to landscape photography. We will have daily morning and evening field sessions, and during our classroom sessions, we will have image critiques and reviews.
Our itinerary will be flexible to chase weather, light, and conditions as they occur. We'll use our experience to put you in the best possible position to make compelling and personal photographs. The class size will be limited to eight students with two instructors to ensure an intimate learning environment.
2024 Scotland - Hebrides

Alister Benn and I are teaming up to lead a workshop on the Isles of Harris and Lewis in Scotland, in the fall of 2024. The trip starts in Stornoway and transfers down to the Isle of Harris for the first 4 nights to explore the massive unspoiled beaches, rugged rocks, rolling hills and crystal azure waters. We then relocate to base ourselves on the outskirts of Stornoway for the second 4 nights. The quality of Lewis and Harris are quite different, and we prefer to split the time equally, rather than just being based on Harris like so many other tours. The price includes lodging, ground transport, and breakfasts. We believe our distinct approaches will be complementary and make for a great learning opportunity.
